Bolton is located within easy reach of the M60 Manchester Ring Road (J15 approx 5mins away) and is surrounded by many beautiful county parks. Smithills is a 2000 acre park on the edge of the West Pennine Moors and offers superb views over Bolton and the surrounding area. Queens Park is a large park, just a few minutes' walk from Bolton town centre, with a lake, bowling greens, children's play area, tennis courts and football pitch (fee payable).
